Louis and June had purchased this property as a retirement home, where they had a Kitchen which was acceptable but really wanted more living space to the rear of their property where we agreed an extension to the current porch which wasn’t the best for a proper useable space to sit out in.
This was a simple straight forward Sarnafill Flat roof Extension with Triple Glazed UPVC windows.
Due to the existing flat roof of the original porch having felt In a poor condition this was upgraded to a new Sarnafill flat roof at the same time.
As the Bedroom window was being covered by the Extension, this was closed over completely and a new opening formed on side gable and a new window installed.
The kitchen window to rear was removed and opening widened to allow for large access to the Sun Lounge and to allow for additional borrowed light to filter back into the Kitchen.
